About
A supportive production partner, not another vendor.
Expert Frequency exists to help knowledgeable professionals find their voice, share their expertise, and build meaningful connections through consistent, thoughtfully produced podcasts.
The founder
I’m Ranger Kielak.
I help business owners shape their ideas into a podcast and give them the coaching and production support to keep it going.
Podcasting isn’t a side interest for me — it’s the thread through my work. I’ve hosted and produced multiple shows, including the Within Range Coaching podcast, Foggy Farmer, The Growth Point, and South of SF. I’ve produced client work for a Small Business Development Center, co-produced a Spanish-language farmworker safety podcast, appeared as a guest on other people’s shows, and taught Podcasting 101 workshops for owners starting from zero.
The rest of my working life points the same direction. As a San Mateo SBDC business advisor, I help owners get clear about their offer and their numbers. As a leadership coach, I help people say what they actually mean. And my years in agriculture and regulation taught me how to ask careful questions and listen for the real answer.
Expert Frequency is where those things meet: a clear direction for your show, candid coaching that makes recording feel approachable, and production handled seriously — so you can sound like yourself, consistently.
What we value
How the work gets done.
Useful ideas first
Every episode should give a listener something real. If an idea isn’t useful, no amount of production polish will save it.
Sound like yourself
We ask specific questions and preserve your perspective. The goal is your voice, clearer — never a borrowed personality.
A rhythm you can keep
Trust is built by showing up. We build a manageable recording rhythm and a schedule that survives a busy month.
We follow through
Clear communication, honest timelines, and a producer who tells you what he actually thinks — kindly, and before it costs you.
Sound quality matters
Preparation and clean audio are a form of respect for your listeners. Every episode is reviewed before it’s published.
No inflated promises
A podcast can build familiarity and trust. We won’t guarantee downloads, leads, or revenue — and you shouldn’t trust anyone who does.
The client experience
What working together feels like.
We start by listening
Your goals and your audience drive the show — not a template.
Topics with a reason
Each episode connects back to the questions your clients and prospects actually ask.
Supportive coaching
Clear prompts and candid feedback, so you get more comfortable — and better — every session.
Reviewed, then published
Deadlines are communicated, episodes are checked, and your show goes out on schedule.
Off the microphone
The person behind the producer.
The cowboy hat isn’t a costume. Ranger’s roots are in agriculture and working landscapes — which is also where he learned to coach, working with horses and the people who lead alongside them.
Where this is going: a growing community of experts whose knowledge reaches the people it can help — supported first through remote audio production, and eventually through an in-person audio and video studio.
